This is something I struggle with. I seem to split achievement and helping others into two separate categories. But I’m finding that these two actions couldn’t be any more interconnected. Sure, you can be a tyrant and get what you want, but few of us want that. And the fact is, people aren’t stupid. Our intentions our as clear as day and those around us are inspired by honesty, a positive outlook and the desire to make OTHERS successful, not just have the whole pie to ourselves.

Life is not about how fast you run, or how high you climb, but how well you bounce.

A moment's insight is sometimes worth a life's experience. My personal insight in my life is the things that we do go further and believe of what we achieved by time to time. We need to know our capacity in every thing that we are doing in fact, it’s the keys of all the doors close to be successful.

I started small. A few years back, I got into the habit of dumping quick little insights. If I took training, I would make sure I had three key take always. When I met with my mentors, I got into the habit of taking brief notes. If I read a book, I summarized the most important, actionable things. If I heard a great quote, I jotted it down. If I saw a movie, I walked away with three key take aways. Next thing you know, turning insight into action became second-nature.

Remember that the goal isn’t to take the place of experience. It’s to supplement it and help you stack the deck in your favor. Often what you don’t know can hurt you, and in many scenarios, there is no need to start from scratch.

It is clear that all verbal structures with meaning are verbal imitations of that elusive psychological and physiological process known as thought, a process stumbling through emotional entanglements, sudden irrational convictions, involuntary gleams of insight, rationalized prejudices, and blocks of panic and inertia, finally to reach a completely incommunicable intuition.

The moment of truth, the sudden emergence of a new insight, is an act of intuition. Such intuition gives the appearance of miraculous flushes, or short-circuits of reasoning. In fact they may be likened to an immersed chain, of which only the beginning and the end are visible above the surface of consciousness. The diver vanishes at one end of the chain and comes up at the other end, guided by invisible links.

In every revolution there intrude, at the side of its true agents, men of a different stamp; some of them survivors of and devotees to past revolutions, without insight into the present movement, but preserving popular influence by their known honesty and courage, or by the sheer force of tradition; others mere brawlers, who, by dint of repeating year after year the same set of stereotyped declamations against the government of the day, have sneaked into the reputation of revolutionists of the first water They are an unavoidable evil: with time they are shaken off.

One of the difficulties that we face is, having found many of the obstacles are based on the preconceived meanings of words and language, is "how do we go about explaining" .. This is one of the reasons we are so against using the words and language of all Spiritual Traditions and, have tried to find a common sense plain English that does not require some special training or study to understand.

To give an example. Let us take the position of a white man who had full sight and understood only English. How would he go about explaining a glass of milk to a man who spoke only Russian and was both deaf and blind.

Such is the parallel that I could draw with our position as facilitators on our discussion forum and as authors of this site.

Many may face the same suspicions, doubts and judgments as we did, concerning what we say and the reasons why we say things for the simple reason that the left brain just does not necessarily have the learned concepts with which it can relate the possibilities. Yet, there are those, too, for whom what we write will strike a chord of recognition.

As the unity of the modern world becomes increasingly a technological rather than a social affair, the techniques of the arts provide the most valuable means of insight into the real direction of our own collective purposes.

There is only one art, whose sole criterion is the power, the authenticity, the revelatory insight, the courage and suggestiveness with which it seeks its truth. Thus, from the standpoint of the work and its worth it is irrelevant to which political ideas the artist as a citizen claims allegiance, which ideas he would like to serve with his work or whether he holds any such ideas at all.

insight is a process whereby one grasps a previously misunderstood aspect of one's own mental dynamics. It refers to a specific moment, observable during the treatment, when the patient becomes aware of an inner conflict, an instinctual impulse, a defense, or the like, that was previously repressed or disavowed and that, when it emerges into consciousness, elicits surprise and a sense of discovery.

Two forms of the experience have been described. The first involves a feeling of sudden discovery or illumination—a kind of "Eureka!" moment. The second is a slower, more gradual process where the subject and usually the analyst as well experience a sensation of the obvious: "Yes, that's how it is. We knew this, of course, but now it's perfectly clear." In all cases, something other than simple intellectual comprehension is involved. Frequently, understanding at a lower level, laden with cultural references and general, abstract concepts constructed as defenses, is replaced by deeper insight that leads patients to question their entire personal histories and thinking. This happens, for example, when patients, after making defensive comments about oedipal conflicts, relive and reabsorb their own oedipal dramas. In such cases the economic and dynamic charge of such a shift and the accompanying emotions run far deeper than mere intellectual understanding.

Insight indicates a transition from the preconscious to the conscious. Attentive analysts will often anticipate a coming moment of insight, though they may feel that interpretation would be premature so long as the moment has not yet arrived. When they sense that the moment is truly imminent, they may choose to facilitate the revelation by intervening.

When assessing whether psychoanalysis is indicated during initial consultations, evaluating a patient's capacity for insight is especially important. The capacity for insight must likewise be taken into account in gauging whether an analyst in training has yet been adequately analyzed.

creating small business is the way to become rich. This is the field that I should take to continue my dreams bought for myself and my family. They say that today you cannot become a rich person if you don’t have a business. You cannot become rich if you are just an employee. Employee that the earnings are given in 15/30 (fifteen/thirty) of the month and a minimum of 260 pesos with an 8 hour working in five days. Now, I know what I want to become, I don’t want just to be an employee but instead I want to be an employer. I will receive the income in my own company and I will be the one to give many opportunities to my own fellowmen. If this time has come then I will stand by it and continue to improve my own business and also help my family and the people that are around. By having these insights I will be able also to help the people that are looking any job that what they only want is to have a meal 3 (three) times a day. Also, I can help this country improve from the face of corruption, prevent the poverty issue by giving jobs and opportunities to people that are willing to have this.
Starting today, I will keep learning of what business is all about and what is an entrepreneur. I want to learn things that involved in this field and I will keep learning. I will make myself more observant in such little things could inspire me and get some ideas that can be able the reason why I put up this kind of business. I will be more willing to do different things to exercise my physical and also develop my mentality to be active. I will make different preparations in such a little ways that can help me to be a successful entrepreneur someday.
I realized that in the business, it is not only the money that matters the most but it also matters about how you communicate and how you interact with other people that you encounter everyday in the business. I realized that to become a good technopreneur, I must be good in communicating and interacting to the people I am with in the business, making money as not the primary goal in the business but how you motivate and lead your co-workers in order for the business to be successful. Thus, making me also to realize that, I must be concern of how would other feels; how would they feel if I get mad, how would they feel if I do not like the result of their work, how would they feel if I am not in the mood, making me to realize that I must not be self centered in any situation and that I should try to consider the situation of others in order for us to understand each other. As a result of the said test, I never realized that personality matters and it makes my question to be answered, that why company needs an employee that has a good personality, now I know that in the business personality towards others is also important aside from money and now I know also that in order to become a good technopreneur, a good and right personality towards other people and money also matters. It is not always that in the business we need to aim so much of money but also we need to aim to show our true personality, what we are when it comes to money and what we are when it comes to other people (concerning their emotions) so that they would know each other better, not just in the business but also outside of the business. In other words they are just calm on the things that would happen. And the last one is really an important thing which is the intellect in which they are creative, intellectual, imaginative, artistic, complex, inventive, intelligent, and innovative. Intellect is one of man’s greatest powers. It cannot be stolen by anyone. It is the power of the mind by which one knows and perceives it. These five factors are just a guide for us to know whether which we belong. The personality test shows us that if we want to be a technopreneur someday, these steps are just the beginning stage of knowing our selves, whether we are capable of handling this not so easy carrier. If you really want to pursue your goal you must first know your self and take the personality traits test which is one of the many ways to see whether you are fit in that kind of work. But to attain that you must do all the necessary actions in order for you to succeed. Aim high! Dream big! You need to have a clear vision on what you want for you to start doing what you want to do. Use your traits to follow your goals, we are created individually different so we must use our uniqueness to pursue all the things that can make us a better man in society. We should know our self in testing our personality thru testing online or given by our mentors to know self better assessment .

1.) What are the factors that contributed to the success and failure of Steve Jobs
as a technopreneur?
Passion, persistence and charisma are just three of his lethal combinations. Who would think that a shaggy nerd of 60’s changed the way we lived life and approached to it? A man with nothing that ended with something! And that something wasn’t just something! It was something great that every living creatures with human brain hoped for—becoming successful. True, Steve Jobs did a really an excellent job! He is now an object of envy and admiration and at times, animosity. He is desired by many people today. His life story is earnestly followed, dissected, gossiped about, and his example imitated. His words are taken seriously and his advises are obeyed for they could mean financial and personal success.
teve Jobs was not born with silver spoon on his mouth. He’s a product of rags-to-richest story. He did not receive acclaim of his inventions that sudden. He worked for it. Along with his aspirations are his unrelenting efforts and dedication to his multifarious undertakings in this life.
But here’s the question, what are the factors that took him to get to the top? Well, certainly, it’s not because of the mound of ectodermal outgrowths’ which have accumulated between his upper lip and nasal passages that brought him on the pinnacle (I’m talking about his moustache!
First, Steve Jobs has a Passion. He just simply loves what he’s doing. Even from the days of his youth, he kept on exploring, learning and understanding the complexity of things. Through the familiarity and skills imparted by his father who was once a machinist, Jobs was encouraged to hone his skills. He constantly learning, building new things while still having fun. Though Jobs, at his early age, didn’t have any idea what exactly he would become in his future, all he knew he existed to change the world. It wasn’t until he met Wozniak (who soon became the co-founder of Apple), he began to realized his purpose --- “revolutionizing the world of personal computing”. Together with Wozniak, they perseveringly strived. They exerted everything within their means and performed best and achieved what Apple has now. Steve’s Passion pushed him to become innovative and creative. It was his passion alone that kept him on moving, working and inventing despite being fired from the company he used to helped exist. What the distinguishing factor of Steve, he’s not like to those people who would just turn back and get destroyed after a devastating crisis. I believed, only death can stop him from innovating and being zealous. Steve Jobs taught me an important lesson; our knowledge is not a prime necessity to become victorious. It’s our Passion. Passion alone can make us alive. There’s no question how a person do extremely well on a field he/she simply love. Exactly like what Steve said “The only way to do great is to love what you do.”

Second, Steve Jobs has a Vision. Despite the fact that he was just a speck on the business he choose to live in, it did not became a hindrance for him to overshadow of how he view his future. Steve Jobs simply kept on continuing on his career, never feared taking risks and go in directions that were less traveled. His vision of changing the world gave him a large amount of self-confidence. He always aspired putting his company on the top of the list—and he did! Steve Jobs had the ability to think in new perspective. He never refused new ideas ( In his office, even though he’s sort of rejecting his employees suggestions, in truth, he actually kept on considering them. ) He employed various strategies—along with either so-called “Brilliant Ideas” to ensure the realization of his plans.

Third, Steve Jobs as a charismatic leader. The ideology and tactics of Steve bring wealth to the Apple Company. His charisma hammered his opponents including IBM. Steve was good in persuading people. He’s good in presenting and marketing their products. He could make a ‘No’ a ‘Yes’ or the other way around. Though Steve’s management style sucks, at some point, still it was effective. It made his employees compete with each other like what happened between Apple ll and Macintosh teams. Bringing so much noise on the company and eventually makes a good effect on the part on the company alone. According to him, “Creativity springs from fear”. As far as he could, he wanted to make his employees feel they were under Martial Law. He’s good in manipulating people; however he’s not good of noticing he’s also being manipulated, like what Bill gates did on him. But after all, still Steve is living with his principle. And it’s up to you if you are into it or not—it’s not his problem anymore.

Fourth, Steve has both determination and persistence. Steve treated his obstacles as stepping stones instead of stumbling blocks. He just kept on learning and inventing by constantly experimenting with those circuit boards. Despite being someone who has nothing, he was still able to stand on his ground. He remained determined and persistent. He refused to be discouraged and never let disappointments get the upper hand. That’s the good thing of being like Steve Jobs. The challenges spurred him on to greater effort.

Lastly, Steve Jobs is simply smart. Though people of his time viewed no clear indications (especially in computer industry) on the advancement of technology, Steve Jobs made it. Jobs creativity and innovations proved them all to be wrong. Even if he was dropped out in college, his skills and talent keep him on track. One of the distinguishing factors of Steve is that he just keep on exploring. He simply did nit like sticking into the results of the other people. He would rather like people would depend on the results of his thinking. Hr gave new approaches to old techniques. Better and brilliant that no one could ever imagine until brought into reality.
On the other hand, Step Jobs was not a consistent icon of success. He too experienced failures. Being fired from the company he helped to exist was the hardest thing that ever happened to Steve but somehow the greatest opportunity for him to be innovative in other aspect of technology. In accordance with what I’ve read on the net, Steve jobs management style was always been being gossiped about. He was horrible, arrogant, demanding, inconsistent, etc as they described him and through viewing entirely the movie “pirates of the Silicon valley” he really are. If the great advisor says in order to have a smooth relationship with your employees, you must be nice to the people around you, but for Steve Jobs? That’s, a joke.
2.) How do you see yourself as a technopreneur?

Can I really earn from technology? People think nowadays about their future. They think seriously, of course life is not a joke. But sometimes people don't know how to do it. Well in fact the things they need is just around them. The keep on looking for money and they are looking for it badly. Sadly, they don't really know about earning through technology. Technopreneurship, sounds weird right? But that is how it's called.

Technopreneurship is the key to earn money through technology. The word came from 2 different words. First, technology, and next is entrepreneurship, where it means business. People are really struggling for survival but they don't know that the stuffs that could save them from annihilation and broke is just beside them. Yes just beside them, they only need a computer and an internet connection. That's how amazing it is. And worst of it lots of people don't see this stuff and have no plan for their future. So could this be? Ok, first thing's first, There are lots of offers in the internet, ranging from advertising to affiliate business to freelance writing and now how could you say it's impossible to do. Well, it's up with you, as many wise people say, "whether you think you can or you think you cannot, either way you're right." There are really lots of stuffs in the web that you could earn from. Or you would use anything that is a masterpiece of technology. Being Technopreneur is really the things people consider now. Especially these times that we have job inflation rate and based on statistics, here in Philippines, we have 13,000,000 people jobless. Yes, but sad to say, it is the reality. Being aTechnoprenuer really helps this kind of situation. Why? Because when you start a business, you could hire your fellowmen as your employees and you can give job to them. So you help yourself to have a financial freedom and at the same time, you help other people.

Now, do we really need to become a Technopreneur? It is your choice. Well as of now I really do earn with this. Hope you do it to and start to have you financial freedom. Hope this helps.

3.) Would you take the same career path that Steve Jobs took?! Why or Why not?

Several of us discuss this same topic in support as well. There seem to be two basic career paths for technical support personnel.
a) coming from a customer service background and learning the tech skills later
b) coming from the CompSci world (mostly programming) and learning or possessing the customer service skills

The overall mind set for tech managers seems to be that it's easier to take someone from a > b versus b > a and for the most part that has been true in the past. However, the trend now seems to be for the products themselves to get more and more complex to where even basic support functions are becoming hard without the background tech skills.

Just look at the upcoming 11g ECM releases and you can see the challenges the the people in the a) category

So, my thoughts related to this thread would be;

Having a background in programming helps in all functions of managing, supporting and delivering a tech product but ultimately it's how you work with your team that determines "good" from "bad". I think the background knowledge simply speeds up the communication between co-workers and/or customers.

Here's a specific example, when I started with "Stellent" like most people I didn't know idoc script but because of some core skills I was able to pick it up in just 1-2 days. Conversely there are still support people that struggle with even the most basic scripting functions inside a workflow event. Now, these people can usually get through those issues but it takes the customer much more time to explain and walk through the business process than someone that can just look at the code and see an infinite loop without even needing the customer to explain the whole process.

If the ability to code is primarily effective as a communications tool to convey a concept of what the product manager wants, then are there other tools out there? Certainly there are. Even a graphically-challenged person like myself can scribble a picture that roughly shows my vision, or if my vision is based on something else, I can simply say "I want something like Twitter" or whatever. Or I can convey what I want in text, via various communication methods, ranging from the general (marketing requirements) to the more specific (design documents).

However, I believe that being the CEO of a product doesn't mean that you have to come up with all of the ideas. Using the Steve Jobs example, he clearly had a vision of what he wanted to do, but at the same time he gathered people around him with their own ideas of what THEY wanted to do.

Any product is going to be created by a team, and the actual duties of people are obviously affected by the strengths and weakness of the people on the team. In my years in product manager, I did not consider myself a proficient coder (my brief professional experience in HyperTalk would only tangentially be applicable to the Java & web stuff our programmers were actually doing), and I did not consider myself a professional architect, but I believe that I made up for these deficiencies by communicating to those people who WERE good coders and architects, as well as to customers and to the other stakeholders of the product

Different World

Since I met you,

each day and night I spin

in the sweetness and optimism

A startling love I received

That will last till the end...

We love in our surreptitious feeling,

Veiled within ourselves

It’s hamm’ring through my stratum

‘til the time I secretly grumbled.

Your forename reminds me of the whole lot

It gives me joy that echoes throughout my heart.

Thou how shallow we forbidden each other,

Still we can’t forbid the love that we had.

Thou your far, I feel secured in your love.

I may be numb of every story they take,

Thou my speculation are sometimes either right or wrong.

I had already compensated those...

Thou were born in different world that impossible to collide

It’s fascinating we’d convene and jive.

Maybe we’re mistaken to our adopted choice

But I guess, I’m not the only one who abuse “Mr. Happiness”

And now as we forgive each other

Nothing can break us together

Thou they forbid our outlawed love

We are here to stand before that love

Maybe the world seems so unfair

We can make it to be so fair

As we holding our hands together

Everything will be ours forever

As you my love praying from the God above

Ill kneel beside you to have glory from God above

In letting us holding our hands together,

to stay in love from now till forever.

-XR-

I am making words to let you know,

The things untold behind both we know

Saying how much I love for having you here

Making me safe and wash out my fears

I am making words to let you know

Saying “I’m sorry” to all things I’ve done

Making u seek and tears fall down

Wrong perspective causes us to chill down.

I am making words to let you know

How happy I am to be your behalf

Sharing things, thoughts that I have

Even the last day of life that I have.

I am making words to let you know

How lucky I am that I have Xao

Loving him till up to now

Hoping we can make a promise to vow

Oh Holy Father, blessed our love

Making us tough with the problems to have

Holding our hands together whatever they say

Still in love till our dying day…

If my life in earth has come to its end

I’ll spread my wings to knock the heavens gate

To please Him to be your angel mate

To continue our pledge as a sign of my faith.

“Question and Answer”

In every tomorrow, a new birth of question asks and stays to our mind. Even it’s small or extremely affects to our daily chores we don't surrender until we commit the answer we are looking to. Answer is the remedy of our physical and emotionally aches, stubbornness, foolishness, insecurities, hatred and even kindness of a person and however evil or goodness is it, if we don't found it, we feel incomplete. It is our nature that we can't avoid.

We have a lot of questions and answers encounter particularly in school, public places, home and church that is uneasy to evade. A questions and answers that sometimes surprising, unwanted and some are what we've expected. Now and then, we feel tired and paranoid if we don't commit the answers of our questions .We can't be deport in one's self if we will do nothing else. We are hungry to our answers until we perpetrated what we've want.

The Memory

Drunk Driving
Is it worth
All the pain
And the hurt

To take the life
Of someone dear
Just because
You drank a beer.

As you laughed
While you sped
Your friend screamed
LOOK OUT ahead

You hit the brakes
And screeched to a halt
As your friend cried
Is wasn't MY fault.

Sitting still
And staring out
You saw a body
Lying about

Now realizing what you've done
you begin to feel
Very numb.

While you stood
And watched the door slide shut
A chill ran down your spine

Looking at
The tall bars of steel
You wandered how his family feels.

The man whose life
You took that day
You wonder if
"THE MEMORY"
Will ever go away.

In your cell
Starring at the bar
Standing tall
You wrote a poem about it all.
